| Immunogen: | A synthetic peptide (conjugated with KLH) corresponding to Drosophila Rel. |
| Form: | Lyophilized |
| Recommend dilutions: | ELISA (1:1000-1:5000) Immunohistochemistry (1:50) The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user. |
| Storage buffer: | 1x PBS (pH7.4) |
| Storage instruction: | Store at -20°C. For long term storage store at -80°C. Aliquot after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
| Product type: | Primary antibodies |
| Host species: | Rabbit |
| Antigen species / target species: | Fruit fly |
| Specificity: | This antibody detects specifically target peptide derived from Drosophila Relish by ELISA and Dot Blotting. Also detects cleaved and uncleaved Relish in PFA-fixed Drosphila tissue (see image). Cross reactivity with human, mouse and rat have not been tested. |
| Reactivity: | Flies,Fruit fly |

| Application image note: | Third instar larva were parenterally challenged with Erwinia carotovora (a natural fly pathogen). After 2 hours, the larval fat body was dissected, fixed with paraformaldehyde, and immunostained with Rel polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB14193) (1/50 dilution), followed by secondary incubation with Goat anti-rabbit-Cy5. Tissues were also stained with SYTO24 DNA stain. Images captured by confocal microscopy. |
