| Specificity: | This antibody recognizes the human CD162 cell surface glycoprotein, a 120kD molecule also known as P-Selectin Glycoprotein Ligand I (PSGL-1). CD162 is the major counter receptor for P-selectin and is involved in neutrophil attachment and rolling to endothelium. In peripheral blood CD162 is expressed by monocytes, granulocytes, T cells and some B cells. This antibody is a blocking antibody, inhibiting PSGL-1 and P-selectin interaction. |
