| Specificity: | This antibody recognizes human CD180 (RP105) a 105kD type 1 transmembrane protein, which belongs to the toll-like receptor family. CD180 is primarily expressed in mature peripheral B cells and is thought to play a role in the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide, through co-operation with MD-1 and TLR4. Cross linking of CD180 with clone MHR73 has been reported to induce resistance against irradiation induced apoptosis, B-cell proliferation and up-regulation of a co-stimulatory molecule CD80. |
