| Specificity: | The monoclonal antibody is directed against the CD66e-antigen, a 180-200 kD phosphoprotein, 90 kD PI-linked protein, which is expressed on mature human granulocytes. After activation of the granulocutes, expression the antigen is strongly increased. It reacts with 100% of mature human peripheral granulocytes. The monoclonal antibody reacts weakly with malignant cells of patients with B-cell derived chronic lymphoid leukemia (CLL). The monoclonal antibody does not react with normal human peripheral B-cells, T-cells, monocytes and platelets. In immunohistology This antibody reacts with a subpopulation of tissue macrophages and the Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) expressed on colon carcinoma and other carcinomas. |
