| Specificity: | QCRL-4 reacts with a conformation-dependent internal epitope of MRP1, a 190 KDa trans-membrane phosphoglycoprotein overexpressed in various human multidrug resistant tumor cell lines. QCRL-4 inhibits the ATP-dependent transport activity of MRP1 in inside-out membrane vesicles and its epitope has been localized to the second nucleotide binding domain of MRP1 between amino acids 1294 and 1531. QCRL-4 does not cross-react with human MDR1 and MDR3 gene products. |
